A registered nurse for 46 years, Margaret Chaffey has been a Practice Nurse in Queensland for the past 11 years. She brings a wealth of experience as a former Midwife (Bankstown Hospital), Maternal and Infant Nurse (Tresillian), and also in Community Nursing at Mid North Coast Area Health (specifically early childhood and school health clinics and before school screening). She is well-loved by her patients – and her 8 grandkids.

Lynne McCleary Managing Diabetes

Lynne McCleary is an ADEA Credentialled Diabetes Educator and runs a diabetes clinic in Toowoomba QLD through the DDSWQ Medicare Local. With over 20 years experience, Lynne earned her nursing qualification at the Mater Misericordiae Newcastle in 1977. She studied further to receive Certificates in Diabetes Management from UNE (1994) and Workplace Health & Training from SQIT (2004). Lynne takes pride in her work to educate those suffering from Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes and aiding them to overcome the challenges of their illness.

Angela Newbound Immunisation

Angela Newbound is a Registered Nurse and Immunisation Education Consultant with over 14 years experience delivering immunisation education to health providers. Angela has a Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Nurse Education), Professional Certificate in Immunisation, Cert IV Training & Assessment, and Cert IV Frontline Management. Angela has a keen interest in the benefits of immunisation to public health and is a co-convenor of the Public Health Association of Australia Immunisation Special Interest Group.

Louise Webber

Louise has over 15 years experience in wound management from both a clinical and commercial perspective. She has recently completed her Masters in Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner) and is working in the primary health setting based on the Sunshine Coast. Louise has experience in both in the UK & overseas and holds an Honorary Clinical Fellowship with Australian Catholic University. Her experience in the commercial field in Wound Care has given opportunity to understand the importance in the relationship between the wound care industry and its benefits to the health care sector. As a Clinical Nurse Adviser in Maggot Debridement Therapy Louise’s interest in alternative wound therapies was firmly established and was the author of the first publication on the use of Woundaid gel.
